Rev. Phillipose John (Biji Achen) was ordained as a priest in the Mar Thoma Church in 2015. Before becoming the Vicar of St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church of Delaware Valley, he served in various parishes across Kerala, India. Achen also served as a missionary in mission fields in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh in India before entering the ordained ministry. He is a member of Punnavely St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church in Kerala.

Achen is married to Mrs. Roshni Mariam Yesudasan, who has a master’s degree in English literature. They are blessed with three children: Niya Ann Philipose, Nanthaniya Ann Philipose, and Nathanael Thomas Philipose.
