Live stream will begin at Sunday 10:30 AM Eastern Standard Time
CARE MINISTRY
Our Church’s CARE MINISTRY: Called to Actively Reach and Engage. The mission of STMTCDV’s CARE Ministry is to improve the health and wellness of local communities by providing hands-on services, food, personal care items, and household essentials. CARE Advocates for Family Harmony (CAFH) supports healthy relationships and advocates against family dysfunction, abuse, and violence. Our goal is to engage everyone in community service, fulfilling STMTCDV’s mission of "Lighted to Lighten" through action and example.
BLOOD DRIVE
Our Church’s Blood Drive, in partnership with the Red Cross, takes place several times a year to support life-saving donations within our community. Keep tuned to the weekly church announcements and CARE Ministry updates to learn about the next drive. Use the Red Cross's registration link to secure a spot at an upcoming drive, and check out helpful resources for common concerns, eligibility requirements, information for teen donors, detailed eligibility criteria, and COVID-19 guidelines.
GOOD SAMARITAN 5K RUN/2.5K WALK
Established in 2017, the Good Samaritan 5K Run/2.5K Walk began as an annual event, but during COVID, we scaled it back to once every two years or so. This event unites the local community and surrounding areas to run or walk with a purpose, benefiting numerous charities over the years. Each participant contributes to meaningful causes, making a difference in the lives of those in need. We invite you to join us, bring along friends and family, and help spread the word to encourage even more support for this impactful event.
GOOD SAMARITAN PROGRAM
Be a part of our church’s Good Samaritan Program, which has become instrumental in supporting those facing financial hardship and, in some cases, enabling life-saving medical assistance. The Good Samaritan Program also supports the Light to Life Project, a mission initiative organized by the Diocese of North America and Europe in response to the departure of Compassion International from India. This project aims to provide education, food, and clothing to children in India. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have contributed to this mission. Additionally, the Good Samaritan Program provides financial support to the CARE Ministry, enabling local outreach efforts throughout the year.
